Bill Johnsen and crew had a good showing at the Labor Day Regatta. Salie O'Mallie won one race and pushed "Purple Haze" from time to time.
Mike Caputo and Patrick Daniel came over from the east coast. Jerry Wheeler was out in his recently purchased boat. He needs some crew.
If anyone wants to sail, call him.
3/31/08 - Sarasota Bay had nice breeze for the Midwinters. Bill Johnsen came out on top of a long, close battle to win a tie breaker with Dave Olson. Salie O'Malie and Patick Daniel had some good races to keep things well mixed up. Results
Sarasota has a regatta once a month and Sunday sailing twice a month and every Friday night during DST.
